Part 1: Kyrgyzstan
The small country in the south of Kazakhstan is a wild area in which Jost not only climbed far out from civilization. The interaction with local communities and their support is very important for him. Therefore he organizes trips to support the local structures.
- Pik Lenin (7134m) winter solo expedition

- Returning with a new social project and first ascent of Arslan Peak (3995m)

In this country Jost has set up an unusual record by soloing the Ama Dablam. The Annapurna 8091m expedition was also very successful. But these milestones where also accompanied by dark moments and tragedy - such as his fight for survival in an avalanche in Everest basecamp. Kobusch explains impressively how these experiences have changed his life.
- Ama Dablam 6812m Solo Climb
- Lhotse 8516m, expedition failed because of an avalanche hitting Everest Basecamp
- Annapurna (8091m) a short overview about summiting the worlds most dangerous mountain
Comparing the Concepts
Concept 1: Just go for it
This event is much shorter (45min) and compacted than event 2 but allows to be much closer to Jost through a discussion, dinner or bar-talk afterwards. This performance fits perfectly for for closed-circuit company events in a small scale. It’s addressing everybody- from trainees up to managers. The guideline should animate to self reflexion, it’s fun to explore the unknown, to discover new things and not to be held down by doubts.
Concept 2: To the Very Top - With The Very Least
This multi- vision show is made for a big audience (more than a 100). It’s a complete package including expeditions to multiple summits of the world and the development of Jost Kobusch into a top athlete. Through the longer event time his way to success is presented in smaller steps and over more difficulties. Cultural aspects of the local communities are integrated as well as emotional high and lows. But the audience will also learn about the beauty of barely known countries such as Kyrgyzstan.
